I know this isn’t a free sample but I figured I should tell you about this iTunes $5 Gift Card that they’re giving away. Yes, you heard that right, finally Apple is giving away something free. I’ve been waiting for this to happen for a long time. You can use this gift card towards anything in their iTunes store.

I’m not sure why this is being offered or for how long, but perhaps it has something to do with the unfortunate passing of Steve Jobs? Or they are losing costumers … lol, ya right. Whatever the case is it’s free. I tried it and it does work! I used mine five dollars towards a couple favorite songs I’ve been hearing on the radio. I just wish they had some for $.99 each like they did a while back, maybe they do, I just couldn’t find it.

Also, to get your free sample iTunes $5 gift card you don’t need to be a new member. I’ve had my iTunes account for well over 2 years and it didn’t make a difference. So, what are you waiting for? Get to it.

Update: I’ve heard rumors that this is something that can be done over and over again, but I’m not sure how that works. If someone is able to figure it out, please let me know.
